Reiki & Animals
Liza has been a lover of animals her whole life, feeling a special connection to dogs and horses. In addition to being a Reiki Master, she holds a separate certificate to perform Reiki on animals.
Liza is not a vet, and does not prescribe or diagnose. It is recommended that a vet approves the Reiki treatment, and that owners continue with veterinary care after the Reiki treatment is complete.
She has performed energy work on horses with bone and muscle issues, dogs with cancer, cats with diabetes, and many more. Liza additionally provides end-of-life care for animals, to either help prolong their life, or ease their journey to the other side.
The Session
You will want to be sure your animal has a calm and quiet environment to receive healing. If you have small children, or a noisy environment, that could hinder your animal's ability to receive reiki. Animals are very sensitive creatures on any day, but especially when they aren't well.
It's recommended that the animal's owner provide plenty of water and restrict the animal's activity for the few days that follow. It is, of course, recommended that they remain in their natural habitat for their healing treatment, as that makes them feel safest and most at ease.
What Reiki Can Do
Liza also treats animals that have emotional issues, as well as working/service animals, and has gone into shelters to help alter the vibration of animals in need of adoption.
